KIYUME, celebrated its 5th anniversary last Friday, November 2^nd!

During the event the Store Manager, Adriana Pacheco, gave thanks to the clients for their support all these years and presented a commemorative video of the store. The video started with Marie Helene Reinhold explaining how the concept of the store was created. KIYUME translates to “male” in Swahili but its meaning exceeds and confounds traditional interpretations of masculinity. Mrs. Reinhold presents how she wanted to create a space dedicated to men and the video ended with clients expressing how they love the uniqueness of the store and the hospitality of the employees.
